What it is

Sprint is a movement feature Washbear added to Railborn and discussed in the April 2026 update. The studio gives a survival example: sprinting to safety while a suit is running low on power and death is approaching. That connects fast movement with an urgent situation, but it does not establish that sprint itself consumes suit power or explain how either resource is restored.

How it was revealed

Update 010 describes the team iterating on sprint and considering how it could become exhausted. The post points to a bar visible in its demonstration, without publishing its underlying rules. Its low-power example communicates why sprint matters, while the surrounding discussion records a feature still being refined rather than a final stamina specification.

How it connects

The stated relationship is between on-foot movement and reaching safety when the suit’s power is low. Washbear does not identify the safe destination in that example, nor tie sprint to a particular train module. Oxygen upgrades are described elsewhere, but this announcement does not say oxygen and suit power are the same system or that sprint changes breathing time.

Open questions

No sprint duration, recharge rule, power cost or exhaustion penalty is provided in Update 010. The development question about exhaustion should not be read as a settled answer about what the bar measures. The source supports the existence and survival purpose of sprint; it does not support a movement technique or advice about conserving a particular meter.
